The Covid -19 situation and advice on how it affects our daily lives and how we should respond is changing daily. To help you to keep up-to-date on authoritative information and guidance, we have put together a list of useful links which are maintained on a daily basis by public bodies. and we have also included a Covid-19 News Page for news from local authorities, partners and village organisations.
In a time when large sections of our community are especially vulnerable due to age or health conditions or need to self-isolate themselves, support within the local community is vital. The Parish Council has teamed up with the Grayshott based Facebook Covid19 Community Support Group to put in place a Churt Community Support Scheme. This scheme is up and running, delivering help with shopping, prescription collection, dog-walking etc. or just a friendly phone call if needed. If you are able to, please volunteer; if you need help, please use it.
Our local Churt News and grocery shop and many other shops and services locally have responded with changes to the way in which they operate – many offering phone-in orders and delivery services. We list the ones we know of and will add more as they become known to us.
In the weeks and months ahead, try to maintain exercise and take some respite from nature, as the signs of Spring emerge.
