Find out about the history of your village!
Come to the Crossways Inn on 14th April where Churt Heritage is holding an open session to show objects and pictures relating to Churt in the past.
If you’ve got anything that tells us of life in the village, then bring it along to share. Matthew Alexander, formerly Curator of Guildford Museum, will be there to try to identify any stray finds you may have come across; coins, broken pottery, worked flints, fossils – everything and anything.
If you don’t have any objects or pictures, just bring your memories. These are the stuff of which local history is made.
The session at the Crossways begins at 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday 14th April. We hope to see you there. Families welcome.
Drinks and snacks available.
