The Women's Institute - A Modern Voice for Women

Churt Women’s Institute 2018. The WI offers women the opportunity of sharing friendship and learning, to help widen their horizons, and together to influence local, national and international affairs. Founded in 1919, Churt Women’s Institute is one of the oldest in the county and celebrates its 100th birthday in July 2019. 

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 2.30pm in Churt Village Hall. Visitors are most welcome and do not have to be Churt residents - cost £5.00. Annual membership is £41.00.

4 December       WI Christmas Lunch at the Hindhead Golf Club 12 noon

The WI are involved in many village activities; the most popular contribution is providing the teas at the annual Churt Village Fete in June.
